Coronavirus Update 6-9-20

Dear Parishioners,

It is now official. We can have public Masses even with a limit of ten people. The Archbishop has expressly given his approval. We will start having Mass tomorrow morning at 8:00 am. We will have the regular 8:00 am Mass through Saturday; then we will have the regular Saturday evening/Sunday Masses. We will also have Adoration this Sunday for the Feast of Corpus Christi from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. You need to sign up for all of these events. Please only sign up for one Mass. When you come to Mass or Adoration, please: sanitize your hands when you enter the Church. Sit in one of the open pews. Fill in the Church from front to back. Sit in the front section only, this will make sanitizing easier. Wear a face covering at all times.

For Mass, here are the additional instructions: We will have Communion for each side of the Church, first the St. Joseph side and then the Blessed Mother side. Approach from the side aisles. Sanitize your hands at the station at the beginning of the aisle. Wait for the person ahead of you to receive Communion and move away before approaching. Keep six feet of distance at all times, especially in the Communion line. When you receive Communion, present the flat palm of your hand. After receiving the host, walk at least six feet away from the Minister, raise or lower your face covering and consume the Host.

Generally avoid touching any surfaces. There is sanitizer available throughout the Church, please feel free to use it.

I look forward to seeing you in Church! Fr. LaHood
