Currently, St. Mary of the Assumption sponsors these sports in three seasons for our children: Fall Soccer, Winter Basketball, and Spring Softball. All of our teams are coached and commissioned by volunteer parents and local adults who have undergone Child Protection Policy training (VIRTUS), fingerprinting, and background check with the Archdiocese of Washington; along with Catholic Coaching Essentials online education. Teams are determined by age groups; 14U, 12U and 10U.

Each sport has a volunteer Commissioner. These positions are held generally for approximately 1 year terms and require approval of the Parish Advisory Board. If your child is interested in playing a sport or you are interested in coaching please contact the Athletic Director, Lenny Meyers, lenny.meyers@gmail.com
