Dear Parishioners,

We are going to have Adoration on Sunday. But, we will move it from the parking lot into the Church. We will have it from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you are able to cover any of those hours let me know by e-mail: tlahood@stmaryum.org. Remember, we can only have a total of ten people in the Church at any time. If you come and there are ten people in the Church please wait for someone to leave before coming in. You must wear a face mask and social distance (6 ft.) from other people who do not live in your household. Avoid touching surfaces. Please sanitize your hands as you enter and leave.

I will hear confessions as usual Saturday from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. But, again, we will move into the Church. Please enter the confessional through the doorway in the vestibule. When you see the green light above the confessional door, come through the double glass doors into the vestibule. Go to your left and enter the confessional through the door. There will be a kneeler just inside the door. You can kneel or remain standing. Please remain behind the kneeler to maintain social distance.

There is a report from channel 9 news that Prince George’s County MAY go to phase 2 on June 15th. This will allow us to have Mass with more than ten people. Pray that we are able to do that.

There will be a demonstration in front of the courthouse at 1:00 pm. This will probably mean the closing of streets in town. Please plan accordingly.
