The Knights of Columbus is a lay Catholic family fraternal service organization. Within this organization stands a proud heritage where you will find brothers (and their family) working to fulfill the dreams of Fr. Michael J. McGivney. These dreams are the central mission of the Order:
The Knights host a multitude of activities throughout the year. The Knights’ Council of St. Mary of the Assumption was instituted on April 29, 1986 and has grown to a membership of over 120 men. The Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7:30 P.M. in the Parish Community Room (red building behind church).
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to all practicing Catholic men in communion with the Holy See, age 18 and above. Applications and/or more information are available in St. Mary’s Church or may be obtained from the Financial Secretary Mr. Dale Trott 301-855-5097 or any Council member.
