Scouting

Scouting

Mission Statement:  Scouting enables boys in grades 1 through 12 to ponder the mysteries of the natural world, learn timeless crafts and skills, go on challenging trips and adventures, and offer their God-given gifts and talents to others in need.  Scouting fills the void between academics and sports by encouraging the development of a strong, moral character in age-appropriate, engaging activities.

We can use your help with the Cub Scouts to…

  • lead an activity
  • share your knowledge or skills
  • suggest service projects
  • lead a den of boys
  • help with activities
  • sit on the board of advisers
  • help with recruitment or paperwork

We can use your help with the Boy Scouts to:

  • share your special skills, interests or knowledge as a merit badge counselor
  • act as a coach for boys preparing for their Eagle Award
  • help at meetings
  • help on outings/camping
  • sit on the board of advisers

We are always in need of adults who will take on leadership positions in the Pack/Troop! Training provided

Time Commitment: varies with job (as much or as little as you want)
