Dear parishioners,

We are already into the third Sunday of Easter. Today, we had the narrative of the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. The Lord opened their minds to understanding scripture and then they recognized him in the breaking of the bread. They really attended the first Mass.  Jesus gave them the liturgy of the word by explaining the Scriptures to them and then gave them the bread of life. We all look forward to the day we can all come together for the Mass and share the bread of life. Please be assured of all my prayers for you. My Mass on Sunday is for all of you. Please know that the risen Lord is with all of us. May you have a blessed third Sunday of Easter and may we come together soon to recognize Jesus in the breaking of the bread.

We will continue to have outdoor Adoration until we can have Mass together. So far, the weather forecast for next Sunday looks good. But, as always, I will keep you posted. God bless you all, Fr. LaHood
